At NDCR, our review process is student-centered and grounded in the belief that all young people can learn, grow, and achieve with the right supports. When an applicant has an IEP or 504 Plan, our academic counseling team conducts a thorough review to understand the student’s learning profile and the accommodations or services they currently receive.
This process includes examining the student’s plan, teacher reports, progress data, and the documented supports that help the student access the curriculum. The goal is to determine whether NDCR’s academic program, staffing model, and available resources can meet the student’s needs in a way that promotes success on their journey to and through college.
After a careful review, there are times when we determine that NDCR may not be the best-fit environment to support a student’s documented learning needs. In such cases, the decision is based solely on ensuring that every student we admit can be appropriately supported within our program.
We are honored to be considered among your high school options and genuinely appreciate the time and care you and your family invested in the application. We wish you every success as you continue pursuing your academic goals.
