About NDCR

School Building

Established in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 2004, Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School is a private, Catholic, college-preparatory school serving 290 underserved youth. In 2020, NDCR moved to its current home on the lower five acres of the historic Searles Estate in Methuen, where our mission continues to flourish. Sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, U.S. East-West Province, NDCR is part of the Cristo Rey Network—41 schools nationwide whose innovative Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), originally developed by the Jesuits, blends rigorous academics with real-world professional experience.

Through the CWSP, each student works five full days per month during the academic year at one of more than 75 companies across the Merrimack Valley, the I-93/495 corridors, and southern New Hampshire. This powerful partnership with the business community helps make an NDCR education accessible while preparing students for college, career, and life.

Come see what makes NDCR a place where scholars grow, families belong, and leaders begin.
